What you can fly in B.C. today
Updated October 2026. Rules are changing, so we keep this current and tell you straight.
Seeding and spreading
Grass and cover-crop seed, fertilizer, lime and other dry products. This is what most ranches buy an Agras for.
Liquid spraying
Foliar fertilizer, organic fertilizers and nutrient sprays, and non-pesticide biostimulants. Pesticides with aerial labels are approved federally, and B.C. is writing its rules, so they’re next.
Mapping and herd checks
Crop-health maps, and thermal flights over cattle, fences and water with the Matrice 4TD.
It flies itself from the dock
Set the routes once. It launches on schedule with a thermal camera, so you can check cattle, fences and water from the office.
$32,107Remote operations package
“I went in not knowing much beyond ‘I want to look into ag drones,’ and they walked me through everything… No pressure to buy the biggest unit on the lot.”
“The experience has been exceptional with incredible service from setting me up and then follow up assistance due to flight restrictions in my area.”
“I have had great experiences with Landrone, from onsite demonstrations to drone purchases. The guys are very knowledgeable.”
Charge in the field and keep flying
The D6000i generator charges a DB800 in 9–12 minutes right at the field, so one battery charges while the next one flies.
- 1,500 W of AC power from the D6000i
- 20 L generator fuel tank
- Maps and routes on the DJI RC Plus 2

Landrone is the Landon family. We sell you the drone, train you on it, sign off your flight review and fix it if it breaks. One family, start to finish, and we fly for a living.

Still unsure? Call us at 778 760 8533.
Do I need a licence to fly an Agras?
Yes. Agras drones weigh over 25 kg, so you need a Transport Canada Advanced pilot certificate. Every Agras comes with the online course free, and we do the flight review ourselves. How the licence works.
Which Agras is right for my acreage?
It depends on more than acres: product, rate, terrain, transport and how many batteries you want to run. Small or tight properties suit the T25P, ranches and mid-size farms the T70P or T55, and big operations and applicators the T100. Compare the four or book a free farm assessment.
Can I hire you instead of buying?
Yes. We seed, spread, map and dry cherries. Every job is quoted on your ground and product. Request a quote.
Can I spray with a drone in B.C.?
Yes, for foliar fertilizer, organic fertilizers and nutrient sprays, and non-pesticide biostimulants. Pesticides, organic ones included, have been approved federally since June 2026 for labels that allow aerial use, and B.C. is writing its rules now. Seeding, spreading fertilizer and lime, mapping and herd checks are all fine today too.
Do you ship outside the Okanagan?
Yes, anywhere in Canada, free on orders over $1,000. Call us about getting your in-person training set up.
Who fixes it if it breaks?
We do. Authorized DJI repair is done in-house, on our own bench. Bring it in or ship it to us. How repairs work.
