Spray, spread and lift
The spray tank stays on board. Add the DS80L spreader for granules, or the DL100 lift system for loads on a cable.
Spread seed and fertilizer
Granules from 0.5 to 10 mm. A weighing sensor shows what’s left and keeps the flow on rate without calibration.

Granular fertilizer at 150 kg/ha on 80 acres
Rotate three batteries. Packages with batteries come with three DB1580s, so one flies while the others charge on the C12000.
Map once, then it flies itself. Plan the field on the controller, and the drone flies the pattern and comes back when it needs a refill.
Weather limits. DJI rates the T55 for 0–40 °C and wind under 6 m/s.
A worked example, not a DJI figure. Your product label sets the real rate, and the DJI Agriculture app may lower the load for heat, altitude or slope.

Plan your power
How fast the batteries charge depends on what the charger plugs into. Sort it out first and the drone never waits.
Three-phase power
Our packages pair the T55 with the C12000, which runs at its full 12,000 W on three-phase power. Your supply or generator needs at least 15 kW.
Single-phase power
On single-phase 220 V the C12000 drops to 3,000 W, so charging takes much longer. Plan for it before the season.
Field generator
The DJI D14000iE charges a DB1580 in the field from a 30 L fuel tank. It weighs 87 kg, so plan to haul it.
It sees poles and power lines
Millimetre-wave radar front, rear, top and below, plus four cameras. It senses up to 60 m ahead and stops 2.5 m short.
Detects poles and wires
Saves them to the field, so later routes go around them.
Radar that works in fog
Up to 250,000 points a second, in rain and fog as well as clear air.
Follows the terrain
Holds its height in standard orchards without mapping the ground first.
Limits worth knowing: sensing weakens in poor light, at night it works on radar alone, wires should be marked, and it can’t dodge moving objects.
Flying it legally
Checked October 2026. Rules are changing, so we keep this current.

DJI has submitted the T55’s safety assurance declaration to Transport Canada. It’s waiting for approval.6 Talk to us about how and where you plan to fly before you buy.
